Drug Related Activity |
||
|
We have received reports of suspicious vehicles and suspected drug related activity in parts of Wardleworth and other parts of Rochdale. Signs to look out for can include vehicles repeatedly driving around the same area, occupants stopping for very short meetings, people waiting in unusual locations before quickly entering a vehicle, frequent visits to an address at all hours, or individuals appearing to conduct hand to hand exchanges.
If you witness suspicious activity, do not approach those involved or put yourself at risk. Instead, make a note of descriptions, vehicle registrations, locations, dates and times, and report this information to Greater Manchester Police via 101, online reporting services, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Local councillors, Rochdale Borough Council, housing providers and community groups can also help address wider concerns linked to anti social behaviour, environmental issues and vulnerable locations.
Information from residents is often vital in helping agencies build intelligence and target problem areas.
If a crime is in progress or there is an immediate risk to someone’s safety, always call 999.
Working together, we can help keep our area a safe place to live, work and visit.
